Pond Constructors Secures $2.5B Air Force Contract for DOD Fuel Infrastructure Services

Pond Constructors has landed a potential $2.5 billion contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide maintenance, repair and construction services for the Department of Defense’s fuels infrastructure.

Contract Scope and Details

The Department of Defense said Tuesday the indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract encompasses new construction, additions, repairs and  upgrades to DOD petroleum, oil and lubricant facilities or infrastructure. It also covers fuel facility-related utilities and physical requirements within the fuel yard. In addition, recurring maintenance for fuel infrastructure will be provided.

Pond Constructors will work at different federal installations globally, as specified in delivery or task orders. The contract, anticipated to be completed by March 25, 2035, resulted from a competitive acquisition process that garnered 23 proposals.

The 772nd Enterprise Strategic Sourcing at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, will allocate $3,000 from fiscal 2025 Defense Logistics Agency working capital reimbursable funds at the time of award.
