Global consultancy firm Duff & Phelps has hired investment banking professionals Victor Caruso and Peter Bilden as managing directors in support of efforts to grow the companys mergers and acquisitions advisory practice focused on aerospace defense and government services.
Steve Burt, global head of M&A advisory and managing director at Duff & Phelps, said in a statement published Thursday the experiences of Caruso and Bilden in private equity, investment banking and military operations will help the company in providing strategic guidance to clients on transactional procedures.
Caruso brings over 30 years of experience to his role. He most recently managed aerospace and defense efforts at New York-based private equity firm Blue Wolf Capital Partners and served in the U.S. Navy as a naval flight officer.
Bilden, a former U.S. Army aviator, previously led the ADG practice at investment bank BlackArch Partners. He has provided professional insights on transactions totaling more than $20B throughout his more than 25-year career, which includes time as a managing director at Stone Key Partners and as a banker at Goldman Sachs.
The appointments expand the M&A advisory practice, which now has five managing directors across the firms U.S. and U.K. locations.
