Perspecta to Support Army Cyber-EW Missions Under $982M IDIQ; Mac Curtis Quoted

Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) has secured a position on a 10-year, $982M contract to help the U.S. Army build and field cyber electronic warfare technology platforms.

The company said Wednesday it aims to produce non-kinetic systems to support the military branch™s cyber-electromagnetic activities and apply deep signals intelligence, big data and wireless expertise to the firm’s offerings on the R4 program.

œIt is no question that in order for our Armed Forces to maintain their dominance, they need to ensure they are providing the strongest, most advanced cyber capabilities to its warfighters, said Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta and 2019 Wash100 winner.

“We look forward to working closely with our Army customer to strengthen their position in the cyber battlespace,” Curtis added.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Perspecta intends to use its research, development and operational resources as well as partner with other companies to support the service branch.

The company supports other programs under the U.S. Cyber Command and Army Cyber Command.
