Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) and 2020 Wash100 Award winner, has said that the company seeks to build on its expertise to support the U.S. Air Force through a joint venture partnership.
Perspecta said Wednesday that Invictus, a JV between the company’s Knight Point Systems subsidiary and Oasys International, holds a spot on the potential $13.4B Small Business Enterprise Applications Solutions contract to provide information technology services to USAF and supporting organizations.
The Department of Defense first announced in December that Invictus and 19 other contractors will compete for orders under the potential 10-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for cybersecurity, systems engineering, cloud migration, software development and commercial off-the-shelf product support.
The SBEAS ordering period is slated to conclude by Dec. 18, 2029.
“We are excited about the work ahead and look forward to providing game-changing IT services and solutions to, and building a strong partnership with, our Air Force customer,” Curtis noted.
Perspecta said JV is eligible for the small business designation based on a set of criteria the U.S. Small Business Administration established for mentor-protege relationships.
The Chantilly, Va.-based government services contractor acquired Knight Point in August 2019.
