TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 7, 2017 Peraton will help the Defense Department prepare the availability of the electromagnetic spectrum for commercial use under two task orders from the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s Defense Spectrum Organization valued at a combined $12.5 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Nov. 30.
The company said Nov. 30 it will develop and maintain a software platform for customized analysis of electromagnetic compatibility as well as deliver spectrum engineering and relocation services to conduct the EMC analysis and coordinate results with the military services.
“This frequency range was previously reserved exclusively for use by the federal government, and DSO is now helping to create economic opportunities and improve security as it executes its DISA1 Transition Plan,” said Peraton CEO Stu Shea.
