Roger Mason, president of Peraton‘s space and intelligence sector and a four-time Wash100 awardee, was named a member of the board of directors of Capella Space and will provide the San Francisco-based Earth observation satellite developer with leadership and insight to support its growth, according to a LinkedIn announcement.
Aside from Mason’s expertise in leading the space and intelligence sector of Peraton, he brings to the Capella Space board experience in previously working as senior vice president of national security and intelligence at Noblis, assistant director of national intelligence for systems and resource analysis and chief engineer of applied systems group at the former Veridian company, which was acquired by General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
Commenting on Mason’s appointment, Capella Space said, “It’s crucial to us, and our customers, that we have the best leaders in place to develop the next generation of SAR sensors that will match the needs of today and tomorrow.”
