Professional Contract Services Inc. has landed a potential eight-year, $271.5M contract to perform base operating support services at a U.S. Navy medical treatment facility located in Portsmouth, Va.
PCSI will help Naval Medical Center personnel manage the facility and solid waste, administer general information and implement force protection measures as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The company will also provide electrical, pavement clearance and environmental services.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic awarded the contract through a sole-source acquisition process and the branch will obligate $29.3M for recurring work under individual task orders issued within the base period. The contract has a $31.6M initial value and includes seven option years.
