The Cyber Bytes Foundation has partnered with Pavilion Data Systems to deploy data storage and transmission equipment for use by the nonprofit organization’s cybersecurity programs.
Pavilion said Tuesday it will provide the HyperParallel Data Platform to the American Cyber League program, a consortium of companies at CBF’s Quantico Cyber Hub in Virginia seeking to protect national infrastructure assets through innovation.
The platform will serve as the foundation of data infrastructure at the ACL Research and Innovation Labs in projects such as a cooperative research and development agreement with the Marine Corps System and Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace commands.
Michael Tanner, regional vice president of Pavilion’s federal business, said the company will support the CBF mission with its storage technology to help address national security data management challenges.
Matt Weaver, CBF director of development, said ACL members will use Pavilion’s technology in efforts to manage datasets across artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, modeling and simulation research projects.
The work with QCH serves as Pavilion’s expansion move on the East Coast.
