Paul Tartaglione, a technology executive, has joined General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business as chief growth officer.
He will assume responsibilities from Ben Gianni, who served as acting chief growth officer in addition to his role as chief technology officer of General Dynamics Information Technology, GDIT said Monday.
In his new role, Tartaglione will lead GDIT’s business development initiatives and enterprise growth strategy.
Amy Gilliland, president of GDIT and a six-time Wash100 awardee, said Tartaglione brings more than two decades of experience as a senior consultant and tech and cybersecurity executive in the federal IT services sector.
“He is a respected leader with an impressive track record of operational execution, business development and driving growth in large organizations. I look forward to accelerating our progress across our growth strategies under Paul’s leadership,” Gilliland added.
Tartaglione most recently served as a senior vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), where he led several IT services programs for federal agencies.
His industry career includes time helping federal agencies address challenges in various technology fields, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data platforms and software development.
