Paul Strasser, a federal industry executive, has joined Deep Water Point to lead a practice focused on helping small businesses transition from set-aside contracting to full-and-open competition.
“Many companies fail upon exiting their respective small business classification unless they are fully prepared,” Mike Mullen, a partner for small business at Deep Water Point, said in a statement published Aug. 11.
Mullen said Strasser’s experience as a federal business executive could help detect areas of vulnerability and come up with strategy and tactics to help companies exit their small business status.
Prior to becoming Small Business Transitional Programs practice leader at Deep Water Point, Strasser was CEO of Brillient.
He also held senior leadership roles at DSA, Project Performance Co., Engility and Pragmatics.
