Former Raytheon executive Paul Ferraro has joined GE Aerospace as vice president and general manager for defense engines and services.
Amy Gowder, president and CEO of defense and systems at GE Aerospace, said Ferraro’s deep understanding of the defense sector makes him well-suited to lead her company’s defense propulsion business and ensure that customers have access to cutting-edge technologies.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Paul Ferraro to GE Aerospace,” Gowder commented.
Who is Paul Ferraro?
Ferraro brings to the role over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors.
At Raytheon, he most recently served as president of air and space defense systems. He also held executive roles at the air power, seapower capability systems, advanced technology programs, and engineering and technology organizations within Raytheon.
Ferraro has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Business Administration and Management from Boston University.
He will be based in Lynn, Massachusetts, where GE Aerospace operates facilities that design, develop and manufacture military and commercial jet engines.
