Patrick Ruhe Named GDIT Cloud Solutions VP

General Dynamics Information Technology has appointed Patrick Ruhe, a technology leader, as vice president of cloud solutions.

Ruhe announced his new role in a LinkedIn post published Wednesday.

The appointment marks Ruhe’s return to GDIT, where he served as cloud solutions director and defense cloud capability lead from February 2021 to April 2022.

Patrick Ruhe’s Career Background

Ruhe has over two decades of experience implementing complex technology platforms and supporting digital transformation efforts of public services and government clients.

Before rejoining GDIT, he served as a principal at IT consulting firm Capgemini for three years.

The newly appointed VP spent a decade as a senior manager at Deloitte and served as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Earlier in his career, the Pennsylvania State University graduate served as a software engineer at CACI and Eagan McAllister Associates.
