Patrick Palmer, most recently chief growth officer at Cornerstone Defense, has assumed the role of CEO at the Herndon, Virginia-based information technology services contractor, he announced in a LinkedIn post Thursday.
Palmer brings to the role over 20 years of experience in technology consulting within the defense and intelligence communities.
He joined Cornerstone in 2014 as chief operating officer after spending more than a decade at strategic IT consulting firm Signature.
Palmer also held vice president roles at Sotera Defense Solutions and Global Defense Technology & Systems.
Cornerstone is a small business focused on delivering systems and network engineering, cloud architecture, application development, cybersecurity and data management support services to defense, space and intelligence agency customers.
