DZSP 21, a joint venture of Parsons and PAE, has received a potential $85.9 million contract to support the operations of the U.S. Navy™s base at Joint Region Marianas in Guam.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday DZSP will assist in the base™s management and port operations and perform ordnance, material and facility management, electrical, wastewater, steam, water and environmental services.
The contract contains a one-year base period and a six-month option, with the completion date scheduled in June 2017.
The Navy obligated $43.9 million from its fiscal years 2016 and 2017 funds, U.S. Air Force operations and maintenance funds, Air National Guard transportation funds, Army National Guard O&M funds and DoD funds at the time of award.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific is the contracting authority for the sole-source award.
