TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 13, 2017 Parsons is hosting a National Security Agency exercise at its cyber center in Columbia, Maryland, in support of information assurance and network security training for military participants, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday the five-day Cyber Defense Exercise will run through April 14 and pit network specialists against military teams as they work to detect, counter and recover from security threats while maintaining network services.
“As cyber attacks become increasingly more complex, these competitions provide the next generation of cyber professionals with vital training,” said Carey Smith, Parsons federal group president and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017.
