Services that will be provided include cyber assessments and subject matter experts supporting cyber operations, development, analysis and research, Parsons said Thursday.
The contract was awarded under the Assessment, Exercise, Modeling and Simulation, and Support indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award task order contract, which has a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods plus one six-month option period.
Threats to Mission-Critical Infrastructure
According to Parsons, the latest award is the third task order it received under the AEMSS IDIQ MATOC. Work under previous task orders included identifying and mitigating a broad spectrum of vulnerabilities and threats to mission-critical facilities and building partner nation capabilities to detect, interdict and deter weapons of mass destruction and related items at land, air and maritime ports of entry.
“Every day, Parsons’ skilled professionals and extensive cyber operations experience are empowering our customers to counter and mitigate threats to U.S. safety and security,” said Jon Moretta, president of engineered systems for Parsons. “We have supported DTRA’s mission to prevent, reduce, and counter threats to national security for decades, and we remain committed to enhancing our nation’s readiness to combat cyber threats and protect citizens and critical infrastructure.”
