Chantilly, Virginia-based Parsons said Friday BlackSignal will operate as part of its defense and intelligence business unit.
BlackSignal Technologies is a Razor’s Edge portfolio company and provides cybersecurity, digital signal processing and electronic warfare products to help DOD and IC agency customers counter near-peer threats and other national security challenges.
The acquired company uses AI and machine learning to develop signal processing techniques that detect and disrupt command and control platforms and related systems.
The transaction, which was first announced in July, aligns with Parsons’ strategy of buying high-growth companies that have revenue growth and adjusted EBITDA margins of more than 10 percent.
