The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded a contract to Palantir Technologies to provide the National Center for Veterans Analysis and Statistics, or NCVAS, Platform. The award is valued at $385.4 million, according to a notice posted on SAM.gov posted Thursday.
The VA’s Technology Acquisition Center serves as the contracting activity.
In solicitation documents published in August 2024, the VA described the required platform to be an integrated, commercial-off-the-shelf technology that can support full operational decision-making capability within the agency. It must be capable of analyzing mission and mission support requirements and capabilities and provide traceability to improve veteran health outcomes.

The COTS SaaS must also be authorized at the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High level and meet the Federal Information System Management Act 2014 High standards. The platform will ingest health and veteran data from across the VA and partner agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, Social Security Administration and Internal Revenue Service.
Under the contract, Palantir is expected to deploy and configure the software and train personnel.
