Palantir Adds 4 Health Care, National Security Leaders to Federal Advisory Board

Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR) has appointed four new members to its federal advisory board to provide insights on national security, supply chain and logistics, public health infrastructure and other issues to help the company meet the evolving needs of U.S. government customers.

The federal advisory board was formed in March to provide advice to Palantir’s U.S. government business and the company said Wednesday the addition of four senior national security and health care leaders will bring additional perspectives on how to advance the use of software capabilities and other technologies to address challenges facing government partners.

The new members of Palantir’s federal advisory board are:

Deborah Birx, former coordinator of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, former Ambassador-at-Large of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief Program to support HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention
Greg Simon, former executive director of the White House Cancer Moonshot Task Force and the Biden Cancer Initiative, co-founder of the Melanoma Research Alliance
Gustave Perna, a retired U.S. Army general, former chief operating Officer of Operation Warp Speed and former commander of Army Materiel Command
Will Hurd, former U.S. representative for Texas’ 23rd District

“Our work with the United States government, including its defense and intelligence agencies as well as the public health sector, remains at the center of our company,” said Alexander Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir.
