TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 16, 2017 PAE has partnered with Parsons to create a joint venture in pursuit of a potential $82 billion contract for global facility and logistical services to the U.S. Army over 10 years, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 6.
The PAE-Parsons Global Logistics Services JV plans to bid on the Army’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program V program and will be under the leadership of Scott Welker, former deputy with the Army Sustainment Command and Joint Munitions Command at Rock Island Arsenal, PAE said Oct. 5.
Carey Smith, federal group president at Parsons and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017, noted that the two companies together have years of on-the-ground and logistical support for the warfighter.
