Oshkosh‘s(NYSE: OSK) defense segment has received a $466.8 million contract modification to produce Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle variants for the U.S. Army based the FMTVA1P2 technical data package.
The Army will provide funds and performance locations with each order and the company is scheduled to finish contract work Aug. 25, 2018, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
FMTVs are equipped with armor and multiple technologies that work to protect crew, transport military equipment and personnel and recover other vehicles and weapons.
