TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 29, 2017 Chris Long, vice president of the national security systems unit at Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA), has urged the U.S. Air Force to expand space training programs to include combat skills in order to mitigate potential future threats, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 21.
Defense Systems reported Sept. 20 that Long noted current space-related training focuses on satellite operations, and that Orbital ATK is working to develop products that align with new warfighter requirements in the space environment.
