Orbital ATK Vet Tom McCabe Joins BWX Technologies as SVP, General Counsel

Tom McCabe, former executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Orbital ATK, has been appointed to the positions of senior VP, general counsel and chief compliance officer at BWX Technologies (NYSE: BWXT).

BWXT said Monday McCabe previously held general counsel roles at Alion Science and Technology and Braintech.

“He brings the right mix of experience with both the private and the public sectors that will help the company continue to grow its traditional businesses and branch out into new areas where our core competencies are a strategic fit for the market,” BWXT President and CEO Rex Geveden said.

McCabe earned his bachelor™s degree in English from Georgetown University and both M.B.A. and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
