TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 13, 2017 Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) will develop an evolved expendable launch vehicle platform for the U.S. Air Force to transport and deploy as many as 12 free-flyer payloads or six hosted payloads, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday the Air Force Space and Missiles Center awarded the contract for a Long Duration Propulsive EELV secondary payload adapter platform plus options for two additional LDPE systems based on the ESPAStar technology.
