TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 13, 2017 Orbital ATK‘s (NYSE: OA) seventh mission to the International Space Station as part of a NASACommercial Resupply Services-1 contract has concluded with the re-entry of the company’s S.S. John Glenn spacecraft to Earth, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Sunday the Cygnus vehicle sent on the OA-7 mission delivered 7,600 pounds of supplies to ISS, docked at the station for 44 days then conducted in-space research before disposing of 4,300 pounds of items upon re-entry.
