TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 17, 2017 An Orbital ATK-built (NYSE: OA) Cygnus spacecraft nicknamed S.S. John Glenn will launch to the International Space Station on April 18 as part of the company’s seventh cargo resupply mission with NASA, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The space agency said Wednesday an Atlas V rocket will launch S.S. John Glenn from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to carry an estimated 7,600 pounds of scientific research, supplies and hardware to ISS.
