TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 25, 2017 Mark Johnson, director of modern platforms for government at Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), has urged government IT decision-makers to consider three factors in efforts to ease and secure migration to the cloud, ExecutiveBiz reported April 17.
He wrote in a commentary published April 14 that IT leaders should pursue end-to-end application security for application users, align agency needs with the cloud service provider and establish contingency plans for potential security breaches.
“[To] be successful, plan ahead, weigh the options and expect the unexpected,” Johnson said.
