TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 30, 2018 Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) has added a cloud-based, software-as-a-service application to its portfolio of offerings in support of local and state government agencies’ land management operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 5.
The company said Oct. 4 the Oracle Public Sector Community Development app works to run regulatory processes for land usage, building permits and inspections and utilizes process automation tools from Oracle Integration Cloud, business intelligence and analytics functions as well as Esri‘s ArcGIS technology.
Mark Johnson, senior vice president for Oracle’s public sector business and a two-time Wash100 awardee, said the app aims to deliver local government services that are on par with commercial companies’ multichannel and 24/7 offerings to address the needs of digital-savvy customers.
