Octo Consulting Group has adopted the name “Octo” as part of a rebranding effort after the company fully integrated Connexta into the Reston, Virginia-based information technology services provider.
Octo said Tuesday it rebranded itself to reflect its transformation from a consulting services firm into a tech contractor in the federal space and the move builds on its July 2019 acquisition of Connexta.
The acquired business will add to its parent organization’s current offerings in areas such as open source, Agile software development, cloud computing, geospatial intelligence, data analytics and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Mehul Sanghani, CEO of Octo, said the shortened company name works to preserve the brand for clients and aligns with the firm’s objective to be known as a leading government tech services provider.
