The National Science Foundation has asked the commercial, government, academic and nonprofit sectors to suggest topics for inclusion in the agency's fiscal 2022 Convergence Accelerator program.
A request for information notice posted Friday says the agency is interested in topics that will emphasize convergence research, drive multidisciplinary collaboration and bring potential societal advantages on a national scale.
Interested parties have until Nov. 9 to submit ideas to the agency.
NSF plans to host webinars to discuss its accelerator model and fundamentals as part of efforts to accelerate the transition of technology from basic research to discovery.
