Debora Plunkett, a more than three-decade veteran of the National Security Agency, has been appointed to serve on CACI International‘s (NYSE: CACI) board of directors beginning on July 1.
She will bring cybersecurity and information assurance experience as a member of the audit, investor relations and strategic assessment committees, CACI said Tuesday.
Jack London, chairman of the board and executive chairman at CACI, said the company appoints board members who can offer insight into customer requirements and support its growth efforts in the government sector.
Her 31-year NSA career includes time as senior adviser to agency director, director for the information assurance directorate and deputy director of that unit that also supports cyber defense missions.
She led the establishment of the National Cyber Security Assistance Program that explores commercial cybersecurity tools for federal use and provided advice to the executive branch on cyber matters.
Plunkett is currently an adjunct professor in the cybersecurity program at University of Maryland University College Graduate School and a senior fellow at Harvard University’s Belfer Center.
