Matt McQueen
Matt McQueen, previously a communications executive in charge of cyber branding at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has joined Peraton as chief communications officer.
McQueen will oversee strategy development and implementation of communications initiatives in the areas of media relations, employee engagement, branding and executive communications, Peraton said Monday.
“With Peraton’s fresh brand identity, Matt will help Peraton communicate the company’s differentiators in the key markets we serve: cyber, space and intelligence,” said Peraton CEO Stu Shea.
McQueen most recently served as communications director for cyber and intelligence mission solutions and space intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems at Northrop.
He worked at Northrop for almost two decades, holding leadership positions in market development and strategy, government and industry relations, as well as global strategic and external communications.
He is on the board of nonprofit organizations including the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Lead Virginia and George Mason University Honors College.
McQueen bears an organizational science master’s degree from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from The College of Wooster.
