TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 24, 2018 Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has unveiled a new open-architecture radar technology with multiple panels that work to enable it to integrate with various platforms to support different missions and perform multiple functions, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the Vanguard radar is designed with a modular structure consisting of field-replaceable panels as “building blocks” that can be operated separately or connected to form a large array, depending on the mission requirements.
