TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 2, 2018 Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) is planning to join a rapid prototyping challenge to be hosted by the U.S. Cyber Command-backed DreamPort cyber facility early this month following its win in the previous event in September, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 5.
The company said Oct. 4 a team of Northrop cybersecurity professionals emerged the winner of DreamPort’s inaugural rapid prototyping competition, which tested cyber capabilities including malware signature diversity and attribution in a simulated Cybercom cyber combat environment.
“We look forward to the next opportunity to demonstrate our deep understanding of the cyber battlefield and how to achieve USCYBERCOM mission success,” said Ginger Wierzbanowski, vice president for intelligence solutions and cyber and intelligence mission solutions at Northrop and a past Wash100 awardee.
