The U.S. Air Force has given an $86.4M single-award contract to a Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) innovation systems sector, formerly Orbital ATK, to provide aging surveillance services for the military branch’s missile systems.
Work covers component evaluation, engineering and disposal of the Minuteman and Peacekeeper rocket stages, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The Air Force will obligate $637.2K in fiscal year 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
Locations of work under the sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract include Utahs Test and Training Range.
