TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 2, 2018 Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar has achieved initial operational capability after the delivery of six units to the U.S. Marine Corps, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday it received clearance for early fielding of the radar following the completion of Lots 1 and 2 low-rate initial production deliveries as well as test and validation activities ahead of deployment to Marine Air Control Squadrons 1 and 2.
