Northrop Grumman Strengthens Leadership Team With New CTO & Supply Chain VP

Northrop Grumman has appointed Greg Simer as chief technology officer and Chantal Sice-Sweger as vice president of supply chain for its defense sector. Simer and Sice-Sweger confirmed their new roles in separate LinkedIn posts on Monday. 

Greg Simer Named Chief Technology Officer

Simer is a longtime Northrop Grumman leader who previously served as vice president and program director. Before joining the company, he worked as a systems engineer at Yafo Networks and as an engineer at Gould Electronics.

“I am both excited and humbled to announce my new role as chief technology officer at Northrop Grumman. Our engineers and scientists are the backbone of this pioneering company, dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge systems that enhance global security,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “I am thrilled to be part of this journey and look forward to driving innovation and excellence as we shape the future together!”

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in the same field from Johns Hopkins University.

Chantal Sice-Sweger Appointed VP of Supply Chain

Sice-Sweger joins Northrop Grumman from L3Harris Technologies, where she served as vice president of supply chain. She previously spent more than a decade at Raytheon Missiles and Defense in various leadership roles.

“This is an incredible opportunity to work with a talented team at one of the aerospace and defense industry’s most respected organizations,” she shared on LinkedIn. “I’m looking forward to diving deep into our supply chain operations, understanding our capabilities, and exploring ways we can better serve our customers while driving operational excellence.”

Sice-Sweger earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University-Fullerton and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
