Noblis Vet Roger Mason to Head Peraton's Space, Intell & Cyber Sector; Stu Shea Comments

Roger Mason

Roger Mason, former senior vice president of the national security and intelligence business at Noblis and previous 2017 Wash100 recipient, will officially join Peraton on Monday as president of the Herndon, Virginia-based company’s space, intelligence and cyber sector.

Peraton said Thursday Mason will be responsible for strategy development and implementation, program performance and growth objectives of the newly established sector.

Mason previously oversaw Noblis™ national security activities that covered intelligence, defense, homeland security, and law enforcement missions.

He also led the Noblis ESI and Noblis NSP businesses focused on the intelligence community market.

Prior to his most recent role, Mason served as assistant director of national intelligence for systems and resource analyses the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

He received the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal for helping establish an integrated system for senior intelligence agency leaders to conduct operations research, decision sciences and business analytics efforts.

He also worked as general manager and chief engineer for General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) applied systems group and director at the Institute for Defense Analyses.
