Noblis has rolled out a new visual identity and redesigned website as the nonprofit science and technology organization marks its 30th anniversary.
The company told GovCon Wire Monday that the refresh keeps the Noblis name and its “for the best of reasons” tagline and introduces a redesigned spark, a refined logo and a new color palette. Melody Pleasure, chief creative marketing officer at Noblis, said brand recognition has to keep pace with business growth and that the work was meant to make the organization’s scientific depth, independence and range of capabilities unmistakable to customers.
“Every choice, from the spark to the website, serves a business purpose: strengthen recognition, distinguish Noblis in a competitive market, and help our customers understand the full expertise available to them. We are giving an expanding science and technology enterprise a brand that can carry its reputation further,” she added.

Noblis President and CEO Mile Corrigan, a four-time Wash100 Award winner, tied the launch to Vision 2030, the organization’s strategy for building on what she called a legacy of mission-focused innovation and objectivity.

Research investment across AI, space and the defense innovation base fills the agenda when the Potomac Officers Club convenes its 2027 Defense R&D Summit on Feb. 4 at the Hilton McLean, with Department of War and national security technology officials on the program. What Work Does the Noblis Brand Cover?
The non-profit conducts advisory work and independent research, engineering and technology development for federal agencies, addressing their operational and technical challenges. Its scope spans defense, homeland security, intelligence, space, law enforcement and civilian agency missions.
Noblis has launched DNA data storage and synthetic biology experiments to the International Space Station and holds a patent for Beagle, a genetic-programming technology that evolves computer code to resolve complex technical challenges, and for a method of breaking down per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, the compounds known as forever chemicals.
“Federal agencies need scientific excellence, sound technical judgment, and innovative capabilities to address increasingly complex challenges,” Corrigan said. “By investing in breakthrough research, advancing our technical capabilities, and bringing bold ideas to life, we continue to accelerate our ability to deliver transformative solutions that advance federal missions and serve the public good.”
To further support its mission delivery, Noblis operates three wholly owned subsidiaries that expand its capabilities in critical domains.
Noblis Engineering Systems for Intelligence, or Noblis ESI, delivers systems engineering, advanced technology integration, program management and acquisition support for command, control, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
Noblis Mission Solutions for Defense, or Noblis MSD, provides network design, systems integration, sustainment and modernization services for the U.S. Navy. Its portfolio includes lifecycle support, operational readiness initiatives and the deployment of secure shipboard and IT systems designed to strengthen mission performance and warfighter effectiveness.
Noblis FTS delivers mission engineering, intelligence analysis, systems integration and operational support for the intelligence community, defense agencies and national security space programs. Leveraging over 20 years of operational history, Noblis FTS applies specialized domain expertise to key system architectures, intelligence tradecraft and mission-critical workflows.
The Missile Defense Agency selected Noblis for the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense program. MSD won a $45 million contract in December for engineering and cybersecurity services across the Navy’s surface fleet, and Defense Technical Solutions, MSD’s joint venture with TDI Technologies, took a $20 million Seaport NxG task order from the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Philadelphia Division.
In July 2025, Noblis Ventures invested in Prediction Guard, a cloud software company developing self-hosted AI for high-security environments, and in 2023, backed in-space vision platform developer SCOUT Space.
