NGA Awards $200M Luno B Commercial Data Contract to 13 Companies

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded a $200 million contract to 13 companies for commercial geospatial intelligence data and services.

The agency said Wednesday the vendors selected for the Luno B commercial data indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract are as follows:

Luno B Contract

The Luno B IDIQ comes with a five-year base ordering period and the 13 awardees will compete for future delivery orders through a full and open process.

The contract is intended to ensure the national security community has timely access to commercial GEOINT data. Through the contract, the NGA would be able to guide the GEOINT enterprise in utilizing artificial intelligence, providing warfighters, policy makers and mission partners with proper decision-making capabilities.

In addition, the Luno B contract gives GEOINT users access to data and analytic services that could be used to identify global economic, environmental and geopolitical activities and illegal, unregulated and unreported activities.

The Luno B initiative aligns with NGA’s commitment to an agile acquisition strategy intended to strengthen the commercial geospatial industry.
