NewSpring Holdings has bought Bridge Core for an undisclosed sum as part of a strategy to establish a full-spectrum company focused on meeting the technology needs of the U.S. intelligence community.
NewSpring said Wednesday Chad Kim, most recently chief technology officer at QinetiQ Group’s U.S. arm, has been appointed CEO of Bridge Core, a provider of cybersecurity, visual intelligence and other technical support services for intelligence community customers.
Bridge Core Founders Andy Rackovan and Tyler Laverick will remain with the company in key leadership positions.
“More than ever, we see the crucial role of a holistic solutions partner capable of elevating the transformation of data into precise and impactful insights for the numerous mission sets of the U.S. government,” said Lee Garber, a general partner at NewSpring.
Garber added that the partnership with Bridge Core aligns with NewSpring’s vision to advance innovation in the national security market.
