Paul Averna
Paul Averna, former vice president of enterprise solutions at Micro Focus and a U.S. Navy veteran, has joined Three Wire Systems as senior vice president for enterprise sales at the Falls Church, Virginia-based information technology services contractor.
He will oversee sales efforts intended to help increase Three Wire’s footprint across the government IT market in his new position, the company said Sept. 7.
Averna previously worked as group director of corporate solutions at Addx, where he managed a portfolio of instructor-led training, strategic communication and planning, leadership training, portfolio management and procurement support services for the federal sector.
He was commissioned as a naval aviator to support multiple overseas contingency operations after he earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
The former Navy Reserve captain also commanded support efforts at the military branch’s Naval Research Laboratory and Center for Personal and Professional Development.
