The U.S. Navy has awarded nine companies positions on a potential five-year, $249.8 million contract to provide logistics and program management support services to the Naval Air Systems Commands logistics integration department.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Maryland received 11 bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that was awarded as a small business set-aside program and will obligate funds upon award of individual task orders, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The firm-fixed-price contract also covers logistics product support for the acquisition and sustainment of weapons platforms, subsystems and support equipment.
