Navy Selects 3 Companies for $115M Ship Repair, Maintenance & Upgrade Services

The U.S. Navy has awarded three shipbuilders a $114.9 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for repair, maintenance and modernization of two ship classes homeported in Mayport, Florida.

Fincantieri Marine Systems North America, Epsilon Systems Solutions and St. Johns Boat will compete for work on the Navy’s surface combatant amphibious vessels, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

DOD noted that the ordering period will run through December next year.

The service branch will initially obligate $10,000 to each awardee on the multi-award IDIQ contract.

Only Fincantieri, Epsilon and St. Johns were the only ones who submitted bids for this procurement effort via the FedBizOpps website.
