Navy Picks Six Small Businesses for $240M Roofing Project Support IDIQ

Six small businesses have won positions on a potential five-year, $240M contract to build, renovate or repair roofing systems at government installations located in six U.S. states.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command received 11 proposals for the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Eighty percent of work will occur in California and the remaining 20 percent will take place in Arizona, Nevada,  Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.

The Navy obligated initial funds amounting to $30K from its fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds. The service branch will use military construction, O&M and working capital funds to finance upcoming task orders.

• Bishop
• Heffler Contracting Group
• J. Davis Construction Management
• RBT Construction
• Southwest Construction and Property Management
