The U.S. Navy has awarded five companies spots on a potential five-year, $99 million contract to provide construction support services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
NAVFAC received 16 bids for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that has a one-year base period and four one-year options, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The design-build contract covers housing renovation and construction of industrial and administrative buildings, fitness centers, warehouses, commercial facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities, child care centers, retail complexes and lodges within NAVFACs Northwest area of responsibility.
Work will occur in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and other parts of the U.S. through April 2022.

Veterans Northwest Construction
B3 Enterprises received a task order worth $2.5 million to perform roof replacement work at a production facility at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton in Washington through February 2018.
NAVFAC will use the service branchs operations and maintenance, military construction and working capital funds to support future task orders, according to DoD.
