The U.S. Navy has selected five companies to handle large, general construction projects under a potential $950 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
General construction of design-build or design-bid-build projects will support Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Washington’s area of responsibility in the greater National Capital Region, NAVFAC said Tuesday.
The multiple award construction contract will provide for building construction, demolition, renovation, repair, or alteration as well as a range of systems and infrastructure-related services. Work is expected to be finished by September 2028.
The contractors are:
Balfour Beatty
Clark Construction Group
Consigli Construction
Grunley Construction Company
Hensel Phelps Construction Company
They will be awarded task orders under the MACC, which has a base period of one year and includes four option years.
NAVFAC Washington will use fiscal 2019 and 2023 military construction contract funds for the award. It received 19 proposals through an online competitive acquisition process.
