Four companies have won separate potential five-year contracts to provide engineering and technical support for the
U.S. Navy s command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems and information technology platforms.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific received four offers for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts that have a two-year base term and three option years, the Defense Department said Thursday .
SPAWAR selected Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) information technology business, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and KAB Laboratories for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts.
Each of the contracts base and ceiling values are listed below:
Booz Allen: base value of $30.7 million with a $78.9 million ceiling if all options are exercised General Dynamics Information Technology: base value of $31.8 million with an $82 million ceiling if all options are exercised KAB Laboratories: base value of $31.3 million with an $80.2 million ceiling if all options are exercised SAIC: base value of $33.1 million with an $84.7 million ceiling if all options are exercised The contracts cover systems engineering, testing and installation, simulation and modeling, integrated logistics and technology integration services.
Work will occur in San Diego, California, through November 2022 should the service exercise all options.
