TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 21, 2017 Boeing (NYSE: BA), General Atomics, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) are expected to submit proposals to the U.S. Navy for the development of an unmanned aerial refueling tanker that operates with an aircraft carrier, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
USNI News reported Thursday the Navy invited the four contractors to participate in the upcoming final request for proposals on the MQ-25A Stingray program in the fall as the service branch targets an engineering and manufacturing development contract in 2018 and possible deployment by 2020.
