Jacobs Wins Potential $242M IDIQ to Support Navy, Marine Corps Base Operations

Jacobs Engineering Group™s (NYSE: JEC) technology business has won a potential eight-year, $241.7M contract to support operations at U.S. Navy and Marine Corps installations in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Defense Department said Tuesday services covered by the contract are port operations, facility investment, pest control, integrated solid waste management and grounds maintenance and landscaping.

Jacobs’ technology business will perform work at Naval Station Mayport, Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island and other remote locations.

The Navy received five proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that has a one-year base value of $30.6M and will obligate $25.2M in fiscal 2019 funds on individual task orders for recurring work during the base period.
